About the Role

Vancity is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our team. As a Network Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions that meet the business needs of Vancity.
  • Network Administration: Administer and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including IT staff, business leaders, and external vendors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices, and implement improvements to our network infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in core network infrastructure and related technology, including switching, routing, voice, load balancers, and cloud.
  • Security: Experience in security and related technology, including VPN, firewalls, and best practices.
  • Windows Infrastructure: Basic knowledge of Windows infrastructure, including DNS, AD, and DHCP.
  • Virtualization: Basic knowledge of virtualization.
  • Physical Infrastructure: Knowledge of physical infrastructure, including device racking, cabling, and data center best practices.
  • Certifications: Successful completion of Cisco CCNP.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license.

What We Offer

Vancity offers a competitive salary range of $64,500 to $96,500, with a mid-point of $80,500. We value lived experience and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
