The Resident Support Professional is responsible for providing high-quality care to residents at Willoughby Manor Retirement Residence. This includes assisting with daily tasks, preparing meals, engaging residents in recreational activities, and monitoring their health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Engage residents in recreational activities, promoting socialization and a sense of community.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.
Requirements:
- PSW or Health Care Aide Certification preferred.
- Experience in healthcare or social services an asset.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are desired but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and adapt to changing situations.
