Job Title: Construction Labourer

Mike's Insulation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of buildings, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and removing debris.

Work Environment

The work environment will be physically demanding, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and extreme temperatures. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and have manual dexterity.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing debris
  • Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
Requirements
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Basic security clearance and bondability
