We are seeking a dynamic and experienced nursing professional to join our faculty at Thompson Rivers University. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to the development of our nursing programs.
About the PositionThis tenure-track position is available in the School of Nursing, with a potential start date of July 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching theory and practice courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as developing a program of research and engaging in service to the university and community.
Qualifications- PhD or other doctorate in nursing or a related field;
- Minimum of one degree in nursing;
- Five years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience;
- Evidence of a program of scholarship/research;
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
- Understanding of and experience in the Canadian healthcare system;
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment.
