About the Position

We are seeking candidates who possess a strong academic background, a developed program of research/scholarship, and a commitment to teaching and service. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching theory and practice courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as engaging in research and service to the university and community.

Qualifications
  • PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter;
  • Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
  • Five (5) years full time or equivalent hours nursing experience;
  • Evidence of a program of scholarship/research;
  • Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing;
  • Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
  • Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment
