Job Summary
We are seeking qualified Childcare Educators to provide coverage to elementary school sites in Kindergarten. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement play-based programs based on the Four Frames. Your goal will be to enhance children's cognitive, language, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement play-based programs
- Provide individualized support to students as needed
- Establish a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community members
Qualifications
- Two-year Community College Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Valid certificate in First Aid and CPR
- Knowledge of the Kindergarten Program Document, 2016
- Experience in planning, documenting, and implementing play/inquiry-based programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
