Job Summary

Bureau Veritas Switzerland AG is seeking a skilled Analytical Chemistry Technician to join our team in the Wet Assay Lab.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analyses of samples using established analytical techniques, including accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and instructions, preparing chemical reagents and calibration standards, and handling chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately conduct routine and non-routine analyses of samples using appropriate methods and instruments.
  • Provide technical support to senior technicians as required.
  • Meet quality and time-to-result specifications required by clients.
  • Accurately follow SOP's and instructions.

Requirements:

  • BSc. in Chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Flexible working hours, including overtime and shift work.
