CNC Machinist

Job Summary
Héroux-Devtek is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the production of large, high-quality landing gear components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Mazak - Mill Turn machines and a strong understanding of health and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Machine control, including programming, tool changing, and troubleshooting
- Calculating work offsets and indicating
- Understanding programmed tool paths
- Tightening and clamping pressures
- Cutting pressures and boring bar adjustments
- Ability to read and understand G and M codes
- Tape proving new and modified programs
- Preventive maintenance and 5-S activities
- Pre-start up inspections with health and safety awareness
- Running multiple machines simultaneously in a safe and effective manner
Requirements
- Ability to produce high-quality parts in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work with co-workers in a productive and positive manner
- Minimum Grade 12 education required
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Meeting security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives
