Continuous Instructor for Auto Body Technician Program

Job Summary: NAIT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced instructor to join our team in the Auto Body Technician program. If you are a passionate educator with a strong background in auto body repair, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in a classroom, laboratory, and industry setting.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program reviews, and course reviews to ensure our programs meet industry standards.
- Facilitate the learning process by utilizing instructional strategies that ensure efficient and effective delivery of course materials.
- Manage instructional delivery, set the tone, and climate for a safe and effective learning environment.
- Assess student progress, create assessment tools, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide coaching and tutoring for students to maximize their success and retention.
- Respond to student issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance instruction and student learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of recent industry experience in auto body repair or a related field.
- Teaching experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of auto body repair and experience working with computers.
