Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in a classroom, laboratory, and industry setting.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, program reviews, and course reviews to ensure our programs meet industry standards.
  • Facilitate the learning process by utilizing instructional strategies that ensure efficient and effective delivery of course materials.
  • Manage instructional delivery, set the tone, and climate for a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Assess student progress, create assessment tools, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide coaching and tutoring for students to maximize their success and retention.
  • Respond to student issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance instruction and student learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent industry experience in auto body repair or a related field.
  • Teaching experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auto body repair and experience working with computers.
