Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Leader to lead the planning and implementation of clinical programs. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and facilities planning teams to develop transition, integration, and implementation strategies that achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead assigned projects related to the integration of clinical program areas, including idea generation, planning, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring.
  2. Provide coordination and project management within a strategic change context, overseeing the development and implementation of plans.
  3. Support the development of tools and templates for clinical teams, utilizing best practice literature, guidelines, and stakeholder expertise.
  4. Support day-to-day management of initiatives, completing work for the team, providing progress monitoring and reporting to steering committees.
  5. Liaise with key support areas and stakeholders to ensure critical support outcomes are achieved.
  6. Apply change management principles to develop engagement strategies and action plans to maximize the likelihood of success.
  7. Identify and establish appropriate team structures and membership for initiatives.
  8. Assess and articulate the impact of initiatives from a systems perspective.
  9. Assist in the development of project documentation as required.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or related field, Planning or Business Administration.

Seven (7) years' recent related clinical operations experience, including planning, project management, and/or organizational transformation.

Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous.

Professional/Technical Capabilities:

  • Working knowledge of change and project management principles.
  • Knowledge of other healthcare disciplines and their role in healthcare.
  • Ability to motivate and influence leaders, physicians, and staff at all levels.
  • Diplomatic negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams.
