About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced retail store supervisor to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our sales teams to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 1-4 sales workers, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Operations Management: Authorize payments by cheque, order merchandise, and organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Sales Performance: Assign sales workers to duties, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer experience by addressing customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
