Job Title: Daycare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Daycare Worker to join our team at Aslan Day Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This will involve leading activities, telling stories, teaching songs, and engaging children in various creative pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that support child development.
  • Lead activities that promote creativity, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre in an urban area. The work environment is noisy, non-smoking, and air-conditioned.
