Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to provide technical and operational support to our production, injection molding, and water systems group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an OEE level at or above 85% and ensuring the smooth operation of all production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support to the production, injection molding, and water systems group.
- Maintain an OEE level at or above 85%.
- Operate and maintain all production equipment, including forklifts, blowers, fillers, labelers, shrink wrappers, case erectors, case packers, case sealers, palletizers, and stretch wrappers.
- Respond to and correct operational issues, including elementary maintenance and adjustments.
- Support the maintenance management process, including performance boards, updates, discussions, preventive maintenance, reoccurrence prevention, planning, and scheduling.
- Escalate issues beyond elementary repair capabilities and assist reliability technicians as required to effect repairs and maintenance.
- Support organizational quality and environmental initiatives across the site.
- Execute administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Form 6 pass.
- Maintenance Fitter and/or Electrical Electronic qualification or 2 years equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive manufacturing background, especially in bottling environments with technical experience.
- Wireman's license.
- Valid group 9 driving license.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician who is able to work shift work with a shift pattern that includes nights, afternoons, and weekends. The successful candidate will have good work ethics, self-motivation, proven problem-solving capacity, and sufficient experience in manufacturing. They will be able to meet the fast pace of the nature of business demands with a 'can do' approach and be committed to delivering outputs within timelines. They will be punctual, a team player, reliable, and able to work with minimum supervision.
