Food Service Team Leader

Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and supervision of food preparation and service within our restaurant. This includes ensuring that all menu items meet our quality standards and that customers receive excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including portioning and preparing ingredients.
- Estimate daily food and supply requirements and ensure that inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, including presentation, taste, and overall customer experience.
- Prepare and manage budgets, including food costs and labor expenses.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys and other supplies.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail, including record-keeping and inventory management.
- Client-focused, flexible, and a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
