Graphic Interface Developer

Job Summary:

The Graphic Interface Developer will work closely with project teams to design and develop graphical user interfaces for building automation system operator workstations.

This role requires a strong understanding of web-based design, layouts, and iconography, as well as proficiency in the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to visualize and implement design solutions quickly and cost-efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and controller databases to produce intuitive graphical user interfaces.
  • Occasionally create visual graphics to support the sales department.
  • Communicate with customers and service teams to improve the usability of the UI.
  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies in the graphics creation process and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Work individually or coordinate with team members to complete larger projects on schedule.
  • Visualize and implement design solutions in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Organize information from multiple sources and communicate with other teams or customers when further information is required for optimal accuracy.
  • Use creative thinking to design new graphical assets when needed to improve the display of information.
