Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team at DLS Technology Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain computer networks and systems
  • Monitor and manage network operations, security, and performance
  • Configure and maintain network security tools, including firewalls, access control lists, and intrusion detection systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues
  • Monitor and optimize network speed and availability
  • Install, configure, and maintain processing, storage, networking, end-user, and peripheral equipment, including virtualization technologies
  • Deploy, configure, patch, and upgrade network software, such as enterprise anti-virus or diagnostic programs
  • Deploy, configure, patch, and upgrade server-side core software, including Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Implement and maintain backup and restoration systems for mission-critical network servers
  • Provide end-user desktop support

Requirements:

  • College or university undergraduate degree in software engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or computer science
  • College diploma in an information technology (IT) related program
  • Level 2 Secret clearance and eligibility for Controlled Goods clearance
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in network administration, systems engineering, and IT infrastructure management
