Job Title: Network Administrator

Maintain and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. Ensure the performance of computer systems and networks is monitored and troubleshooted as needed. Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect network systems. Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records. Provide problem-solving services to network users and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install software and hardware
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot computer system and network performance
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in network administration
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking software, and security software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.
