Concordia University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Disability Management Quality and Training to lead our team in delivering exceptional services to our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the highest level of quality and training in disability management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead system acquisition initiatives and manage maintenance & support contracts to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
- Manage relationships and product roadmaps with externally sourced infrastructure providers and operations capabilities.
- Represent the University on external committees, monitoring industry trends and providing strategic direction on the integration of emerging technologies into infrastructure and operations products and services.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, with preference given to a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
- At least 10 years of pertinent systems experience, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution of large-scale IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
- Proven project management experience in infrastructure and technology deployment projects.
- Proficiency with core IT infrastructure including network, telecommunication, data center technologies, end-user computing and audio-video technologies.
- Excellent planning, organizational and decision-making skills, coupled with the ability to establish and respond to priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written skills in English and good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken French.
