About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Amigo Landscapes Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor work crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Construction and Maintenance: Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, as well as laying sod or seed.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment, including pick-up trucks, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers.
  • Task Management: Manage tasks such as raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Transportation and Travel: Drive a manual transmission vehicle, and may be required to travel to various locations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Work Environment: The work site environment is outdoors, and may involve working in wet/damp, noisy, dusty, and hot conditions.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is in urban, rural, and remote locations, and may involve working in various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: The role requires handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work, as well as attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
