As a knowledgeable Financial Business Analyst (FI BA) with a strong focus on Fixed Income (FI) products, specifically in the Bonds space, you will be part of our Canada team, collaborating closely with stakeholders to analyze financial data, provide insights, and support product development in the FI domain.

The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in FI Bonds, utilizing their expertise to influence business decisions and enhance financial strategies. This role requires:

  • Acting as the SME for Fixed Income Bonds, providing guidance and insights on market trends, product features, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data related to Fixed Income products, specifically Bonds, to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborating with product management, risk management, and other teams to ensure alignment of FI product strategies with overall business objectives
  • Developing comprehensive financial models and forecasts to assess product performance and viability in the market
  • Facilitating workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable business solutions
  • Supporting the implementation of new FI products and enhancements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Providing training and support to team members regarding Fixed Income products and market dynamics

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Financial Products, particularly in the Fixed Income and Bonds space
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Bloomberg, Tableau)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred
