Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sydney, NS. As an Occupational Therapist at Lifemark, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who require physical, neurological, and/or mental health support. Your expertise and skills will play a critical role in helping them achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities assessments
  • Educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide accommodation recommendations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE training
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience.
