About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Don Chendo Products Inc. as a Marketing Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies
    • Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our products and services.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage Events and Communications
    • Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and workshops to engage with customers and stakeholders.
    • Develop and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives
    • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees through mentorship programs and cultural competency training.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations.
  • Provide Administrative Support
    • Manage digital databases and maintain accurate records.
    • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software.
