Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our team at All Seniors Care Living Centres. As the Executive Director of Quality and Operations, you will be responsible for directing, managing, and overseeing the overall operations of our residence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the overall operations of the residence, including food service, maintenance, nursing, health and wellness, marketing and sales, administration, and commercial affiliations.
- Review, approve, and direct all monthly invoices to head office for payment.
- Collaborate with the development, interpretation, and implementation of policies and procedures, and communicate them to staff.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the residence while maintaining tight control of budget and variances to budget.
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families, including meeting with residents/families to resolve problems/concerns/complaints, and reviewing suggestions as needed.
- Ensure the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the residence-wide Quality Improvement Program.
Requirements:
- Experience in retirement, health care, or a relevant sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with residents, families, community professionals, and outside agencies.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create long-term planning strategies.
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse (RPN/RN) is an asset, but not required.
- Flexible work schedule is required.
