**Overview of Job Responsibilities:**

We are looking for a skilled 2D Animator to join our team at Animationclub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animation and experience working on 2D animated series.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Scene Planning Review: Review scene planning and episodic animatics to ensure a clear understanding of scene direction.
  2. Episodic Launches: Participate in episodic launches to discuss goals and roles in the story.
  3. Animation Production: Animate assigned scenes, applying principles of staging, timing, acting, and posing.
  4. Quality Control: Rectify, adjust, and re-animate scenes according to client and production requests.
  5. Schedule Management: Manage and produce quality animated frames in Harmony within established schedules.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor to resolve complex ideas.
  7. Cycle Creation: Create walk and run cycles as needed.
  8. Soundtrack Adherence: Follow soundtrack and provide appropriate lip assignment.
  9. Reuse Maximization: Maximize reuse in animation and drawings.
  10. Task Completion: Coordinate with the Animation Supervisor to complete tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in animation, art, multimedia, or equivalent experience.
  • Working experience on a 2D animated series.
  • Good knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony and technical basis in 2D animation.
  • Collaborative and communication skills: encourage teamwork by sharing knowledge and leadership abilities.
