Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Linamar Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects, preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and design specifications to stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of process flows, process sheets, FMEA's, and control plans.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure project deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations and proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to TS16949 system and applicable customer standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in project management and engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to track data and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software and computer-assisted design, manufacturing, and machining.
