We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at The Filipino Noodle Joint Ltd. This is a permanent opportunity that offers 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • Carry and replace linen in the kitchen.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in the dining area.
  • Loading buspans and trays with food and supplies.
  • Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Placing dishes in storage areas.
  • Replenishing condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Scouring pots and pans in the kitchen.
  • Maintaining accurate records of food quantities used.
  • Packaging take-out food for customers.
  • Portioning and wrapping foods for service.
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items according to recipes.
  • Serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stocking refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
  • Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the entire kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handling and storing cleaning products safely.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors in the dining area and kitchen.
  • Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits for preparation.
Working Conditions and Requirements
  • This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.
  • The ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods is required.
  • Overtime may be necessary to meet business demands.
  • This position requires physical stamina and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
