Job Summary

Utpala Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Prepare layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
Work Environment

Utpala Inc. offers a permanent position with 32 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding, and the successful candidate must be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
