Woodworking Specialist

Utpala Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to construct and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure conformance to building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 32 hours per week
This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in various locations.
