About This Role

Kulwant Transport Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled long haul truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience driving trucks, preferably as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive safely and efficiently across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods with care, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the condition of cargo.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international transport.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle's condition, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment regularly.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Record important details such as cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Required Qualifications
  • A valid AZ class license.
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials and tarping cargo for security.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with central dispatch.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires prolonged sitting, working under pressure, and coping with a large workload.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect:
