Food and Beverage Service Representative

At Cumin Restaurant, we are looking for a skilled Food and Beverage Service Representative to join our team. This is a permanent position offering 35-40 hours of work per week.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns, presenting bills to customers, and accepting payment in various forms. They will also describe menu items, advise on menu selections, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
- Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers
- Advise customers on menu selections based on their preferences
- Clean and clear tables, trays, and chairs in a timely manner
- Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders from customers and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks that require standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability- Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Show a strong ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $25,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
