Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and food service helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by monitoring and maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
