Food Service Team Lead

About the Role:
CABIN COFFEE is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
