About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sewage Pipeline Technician to join our team at GS Construction. As a key member of our pipeline construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of sewage pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Assist in Aligning Pipes: You will assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
  • Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: You will be responsible for leveling earth to fine grade specifications to ensure the pipeline is installed correctly.
  • Utilize Laser Alignment System: You will utilize a laser alignment system to ensure accurate and precise alignment of pipes.
Work Environment

You will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in confined spaces and may be exposed to hazardous materials. You will also be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: You will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pipeline construction or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Education: You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
