About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Sewage Pipeline Technician to join our team at GS Construction. As a key member of our pipeline construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sewage pipelines and water mains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to job sites.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a stable and secure pipeline foundation.
  • Utilize laser alignment systems to ensure precise pipe placement.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in confined spaces, and be physically demanding.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and achieve quality results.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in pipeline construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure accurate pipe placement.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Work Environment

As a Sewage Pipeline Technician at GS Construction, you will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and underground. You will be exposed to dust, confined spaces, and potentially hazardous conditions. However, you will also have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from industrial to commercial and institutional.

Work Schedule

The typical work schedule is 40 to 60 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
