Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Vehicle Operator to join our team at Prairieland Trenching Ltd. This role requires a commitment to safety and environmental responsibility while operating specialized equipment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate costs for vehicle repairs and necessary parts
  • Utilize navigation tools, including GPS, to optimize routes and reduce fuel consumption
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on effective work practices
  • Monitor vehicle condition and conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and other essential equipment
  • Carry out brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are managed
Required Certifications
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
