About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at BIN YAN. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation to appointments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
