Location: Various locations across Alberta

The Research Pharmacist conducts research related to drug therapy, formulary management, and medication safety, contributing to advancements in pharmaceutical care. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, analyzing data, and preparing findings for publication or presentation at professional conferences. Collaboration with clinical teams is essential to assess medication outcomes and develop evidence-based guidelines. Staying informed about current trends and developments in pharmacotherapy and clinical research is crucial. Educating pharmacy staff and students on research methodologies and findings is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree with a focus on clinical research or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting clinical research and data analysis.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills for communicating research findings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
