Job Title: Casual Bus Driver

Chinook School Division No. 211 is seeking applications for casual bus drivers in the Swift Current area. As a casual bus driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of students during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • Clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, and staff
  • Good physical condition
  • Basic computer skills
  • Commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Casual employees are contacted to work on an as-needed basis. Working casually allows you the flexibility to choose which shifts you accept. Casual employees are important members of our Chinook team and receive competitive wages as well as pension benefits. Some training opportunities may be available to ensure our casual employees are equipped with the skills they need to work in various roles throughout the division.
