Farm Supervisor Job Description

Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the quality of our crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues
  • Direct and supervise agricultural crops deleafing activities
  • Monitor animal health and maintain performance records
  • Oversee the process of hoeing crops and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Supervise milking operations and ensure work is done correctly
  • Tie and secure plants, and treat livestock health issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform general farm duties

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. If you are a motivated and experienced farm supervisor looking for a new challenge, please apply.
