Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at A&W. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and standing for extended periods.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including Cooks, Food Service Counter Attendants, and Food Preparers.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with staff to achieve team goals.
