Food Counter Attendant Role at Quesada Burritos and Tacos

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Quesada Burritos and Tacos. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe food preparation environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and provide a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Work Details:

  • Permanent position
  • English language required
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
