Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Quesada Burritos and Tacos. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe food preparation environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize all food preparation areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized, including storage areas and refrigerators.
- Food Preparation
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches.
- Portion and wrap foods according to company standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory and Supply Management
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient food service operation.
- Communicate effectively with management and other staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
- Language
- Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
