Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community occupational therapy services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and implementing programs to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve optimal health outcomes. You will work closely with residents, clients, patients, and their caregivers to provide education and support.

You will contribute to the organization's goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education. Additionally, you will provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program
  • Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
  • A valid BC Driver's license
