Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health Rehab team in Penticton and Summerland on a casual basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to provide inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community occupational therapy services.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the organization's overall goals and participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education. You will also provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants and participate in the transfer of function.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and implement occupational therapy services for clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and program planning.

Consult with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to promote functional independence and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and services.

Requirements:

Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.

Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).

Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

Valid BC Driver's license.
