The primary objective of the Scheduler's role is to provide efficient support to Portfolio Resource Coordinators. This entails proactively identifying and addressing resource needs, strategically filling open shifts, minimizing overtime through targeted initiatives, and responding to inquiries regarding shift assignments.

Canopy Growth seeks a part-time Scheduler to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Strategically identify vacant shifts/open positions and collaborate with Paladin's Client Service Team to ensure comprehensive schedules that align with contractual obligations.
  2. Work within a dynamic team environment alongside multiple operational stakeholders, including Site Supervisors, Security Guards, Scheduling Managers, Client Service Managers (CSM), and Senior Management.
  3. Maintain accuracy in WinTEAM scheduling software.
  4. Fill cancellations and openings in daily schedules, reducing overtime payouts.
  5. Coordinate with CSMs to ensure their staffing requirements are met and addressed in a proactive manner.
  6. Send out temporary Averaging Arrangements to eligible employees to minimize overtime.
  7. Utilize WinTEAM software for accurate and timely scheduling.
  8. Respond to inquiries within one business day.
  9. Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is preferred.
