Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist on Duty, performing technical duties and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Direct patient care, including medication management and education.
  • Fulfill and check prescriptions, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist on Duty to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Self-reliance, goal-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, with a focus on clear and concise communication.
  • Commitment to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
