We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at RhynoCare, where we provide exceptional care to our residents in a long term care facility. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
  • Provide timely and accessible admission for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • Ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards influencing long term care facilities.
  • Medical clearance, including TB tests, and a clear vulnerable sector police check.
