About the Role

Canadian Blood Services seeks a skilled and experienced Team Lead Plasma Nurse to join our dynamic Plasma Operations team. This is a regular full-time position that requires a licensed registered nurse with at least three years of experience working with the public, particularly in high customer-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight of daily operations at a plasma collection site and guide staff to ensure efficient and safe processes.
  • Foster a positive work environment that empowers staff, challenges them, and encourages engagement.
  • Collaborate with the manager to maintain an optimal site environment through equipment maintenance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in a team lead/supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is an asset.
  • Proven leadership ability is essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required, with French being considered an asset.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and comfort with frequent change are necessary for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement practices is highly valued.
