Job Title: Dean of Business School

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Dean of Business School at the University of Windsor. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business programs, as well as overseeing the academic and administrative activities of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business programs that align with the university's strategic goals
  • Oversee the academic and administrative activities of the school, including curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, and budget management
  • Collaborate with faculty officials to develop registration policies and procedures
  • Direct and control academic and related activities of the school, including research and curriculum development
  • Plan and organize academic and related activities of the school, including events and conferences
  • Recruit and hire teachers and other staff, as needed
  • Teach and advise students, as needed
  • Advise the president or rector of the university on matters related to business education
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior administrative role in a business school or similar institution
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire faculty and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities
