Cinematics Designer

Ubisoft Montreal, a leading video game development studio, is seeking a skilled Cinematics Designer to join our team. As a key member of our cinematics department, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive cutscenes that bring our games to life.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement compelling dialogue cutscenes with excellent pacing, camera, and character acting
- Collaborate with level design, scriptwriting, animating, and programming departments to ensure seamless integration
- Develop and maintain pipelines and technical requirements to ensure efficient and high-quality results
- Balance quality with efficiency when working under tight deadlines
- Validate cinematics to ensure integrations do not cause conflicts with the rest of the game
- Share knowledge and collaborate with technical leads to improve the quality of tools
- College Diploma/Degree in cinema, animation, video game development, or equivalent
- At least 1-3 years of experience working in the video games industry as a Cinematic Designer/Artist, Animator, Previz Artist, Camera Artist, Video Editor, or similar role
- Experience with character and camera animation in 3D software
- Samples of your work (attach files or send us a link to your demo reel or online portfolio)
